Free or Low Cost access

PICSI Core offer is based on the WHO Hinari Core offer and includes the same countries. See Hinari for the country listing

Only National or State/district health departments/ or Ministries of Health and Universities hosting Poison Information/Control Centres are eligible. NGOs and private hospitals may be eligible and will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

If your institution is in a Group A (free access) country, area, or territory, then PICSI is free. If your institution is in a Group B (low-cost access) country, area, or territory, PICSI costs €900 per site per calendar year (from January through December). All eligible institutions registering from Group B countries, areas, or territories will receive a six month trial without payment.

A site is a single case list/database, so if your country chooses to have multiple physical institutions all working from a single case database, this will be considered a single site. There is no charge per user

If your institution is in a Group B (low-cost access) country, area, or territory, and cannot or chooses not to pay the annual fee, the institution may still be eligible for free access and this will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refugee Camps recognized by UNRWA or categorized by UNHCR as “planned/managed camps” are eligible for free PICSI access regardless of their geographical location.

Presently PICSI is only available in English, two year's free access will be granted for countries willing to translate to other languages, including Middle and High income countries not in either group.
